Introduction to Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center

The construction of the Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center and the creation of a new national highland for exhibition economy is a major decision made by the Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government to implement the national Yangtze River Delta integration strategy and Zhejiang Province's "two first" development strategy. This transformative project will elevate Hangzhou's comprehensive capabilities and core competitiveness, propelling the city towards its vision of becoming a world-class socialist modern international metropolis, as envisioned under the "Forge Ahead in a New Era, Build a New Paradise" initiative.

The Hangzhou Grand Convention and Exhibition Center is strategically situated within the Nanyang Street block of the Hangzhou Airport Economic Demonstration Zone, nestled in the hinterland of the Qiantang River Delta and the Hangzhou Bay Bridgehead Fortress. Conveniently located just 3 kilometers northwest of Hangzhou International Airport and 20 kilometers from Hangzhou's main urban area, the center boasts an abundance of scenic and cultural resources and enjoys exceptional transportation advantages. Construction of the center's Phase 1 project officially commenced on December 30, 2020.
